About Verda Sirens

Shello there!
I'm Taryn Waraksa-Deutsch, also known as Mermaid Verdaleigh,
owner of Verda Sirens.

When I was four years old, I met my first mermaid at Weeki Wachee in Florida. Mesmerized, my world became saturated with everything mermaid.

Summers were spent swimming in pools and snorkeling in freshwater springs. In 2018, I took the plunge into scuba diving and soon thereafter went "pro" as a Divemaster, assisting with classes and guiding certified divers at our beautiful Lake Hydra in Bethlehem, PA. During my scuba journey, mermaid dreams were still rampant, so I invested in my first tail and monofin. Humbly, I had a lot to learn, so I began my PADI Mermaid Program training with an Instructor who truly gave me her full attention and expertise. She directed me to her​ Instructor for my Mermaid Instructor training, and the rest is history!

From Little Mermaid to PADI Mermaid Instructor, I can't wait to help you fin-flip your underwater dreams into reality!
